Heritage Village is literally minutes from the Valley’s most reputable hospitals partnering with HCA Rio Grande Regional Hospital, South Texas Health System’s McAllen Medical Hospital, McAllen Heart Hospital with medical emergency transport provided by services from MED-CARE Ambulance Service literally blocks from Heritage Village. Medical conveniences such as these give both family members and residents alike peace of mind. Our Resident Services Director is available between 8am – 5pm during the week to attend to any individual concerns. In case of an emergency in the evening, there is the pull cord system in every bedroom and bathroom to alert the Care Staff. The Care Staff are on call 24/7 and can also be reached by phone or beeper if required. Your health is a priority and this is why a home health agency provides on-site weekly blood pressure and glucometer checks for each of our residents as a courtesy for them, ensuring both the residents and family member’s consistency in such sensitive issues sometimes taken for granted by others. We also offer transportation to doctor appointments, and some doctors even make house calls! |
